| Description | Currently documentation contains ambiguous information:Video card: GeForce The following versions of GeForce drivers are recommended: - 64-bit Version: 100.14.19 or later http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_amd64_100.14.19.html - 32-bit Version: 100.14.19 or later http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_display_ia32_100.14.19.html This is not true statement since OCCT visualization might work well and great variety of GPUs (GeForce/RadeOn/Intel) and graphic drivers. Please consider removing this section and replacing it with the list of hardware/software used for certification process. | ||||

I suggest we use this issue to collect information on combinations of graphics cards + driver versions that we use for development and testing of OCCT and applications, and add them to the list. Then the list should be put to Overview documentation (software requirements), while in Release notes we can keep only short statement like "see the list of graphics cards known to work with OCCT in Overview/Requirements". I have pushed branch CR24329 containing first version of the list, containing info on graphic cards available on my notebook, and ones referred in 0024310. Please have a look and complete by other data. |
