Summary | 0006282: Cut operation is invalid.
Description | Reference data: pkv/904/L1 (only on linux) Conclusion of MKK: Cut operation is invalid. The cause of the problem is section between arguments. Section contains edges with one vertex, but these edge are not degenerated and not based on closed in 3D or 2D curve. Such edges are considered as closed and new face based on one such edge is created. Other OCC algorithm can not process properly such faces.
Additional information and documentation updates | Documentation remark, added by OFV 2004-09-21 09:31:15: Improvements: In the frame of this bug the section part of Boolean operations has been improved: for some cases the section between shapes is tested to reject too small edges with only one vertex completely covered the edges. This makes a result of section valid for further processing.
