|Target Version||[OCCT] 7.4.0*||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0030178: Move or Replace face local modeling feature|
|Description||Move face is a cool and essential feature and it's available in most famous modelers. When moving a face, the neighbor faces will be extended and form a new shape with the moved face. It's even possible to replace the give face with other face or shell.|

|Test case number|
What should the algorithm do in the case of C1 connection between faces? If we move one of such faces the extension of the neighboring face will not help to find intersection line between them.
Vico Liang (developer)
There are two alternates for c1 connection faces:
1. Move the faces chain of c1 connection if one such face is selected to move.
2. Report failure to move face with c1 connection faces.
Is there any better ideas?
Deform the neighbor face to preserve connection (may be not necessary C1).
P.S. It was me, msv, rather than kgv, the author of 0030178:0079570 note.

I'm sorry for typing wrong author. I'm responding you rather than kgv. I have some issues reported to kgv, i didn't see the author carefully. -:)
Awesome, i think deforming the neighbor faces is the best way.
It is a cool idea to have such algorithm in OCCT. However, it is not so simple. OCC does not have enough budget to implement it.
Dear Vico, do you want to take part in its investment?
