| Description | Up to now the STEP exporter used AP214DIS (Draft International Standard) to write STEP files. The AP214 was upgraded to IS status 15 years ago by the ISO, and the respective schema has been broadly adopted. Using the IS (instead of preceding CD and DIS) will increase interoperability with other tools which expect (or are only able to work with) the IS level. The modification is basically to change the default value of the "write.step.schema" parameter. | ||||

Correction: up to now the default value was AP214CD which is even preceding to DIS. |
