| Summary | 0001747: Cannot get entity number for translated shape from STEP in XDE case. | ||||
| Description | Dear DE team, Try to store the assembly to STEP file and then ReadStep into XDE document. Just get main top-level shape from document and try to ask fromshape for it. Use tcl test script to reproduce the bug. But if we read STEP file with command stepread, we will get the entity number for main assebly (and their components) sucessfully. Wth Bst Rgrds, PTV. | ||||

Test case for this bug is chl 934 S8. It's BAD. Issue isn't solve 'cause we still can not get entity number using following script: ______________________________ WriteStep SA /tmp/wall.stp dall ReadStep D /tmp/wall.stp XGetShape a D 0:1:1:1 fromshape a ______________________________ we get following result: "Shape a : searching in map among 106 ... unknown as imported Subshapes imported from entities: " |
